Micro-breaks for reflective practice

Deep reflection does not require an afternoon retreat. When schedules are full, micro-breaks help you notice what is working, what is draining, and what needs your attention next.

Choose a simple pause structure

Set a timer every 90 minutes to run through three prompts: What am I noticing in my body? What am I celebrating from the last hour? What needs adjusting for the next task? These check-ins keep you connected to your energy and focus.

Use sensory resets

Step away from screens, drink water, stretch, or look out of a window. Supporting your nervous system creates space for your brain to integrate insights.

Capture quick reflections

Keep a digital note or small notebook to jot down patterns or questions. Over time, these entries inform bigger decisions and coaching topics.

Micro-breaks are tiny investments that compound. They create the steadiness we need to stay intentional rather than reactive.
